Hehr International Inc.
announced the promotion of Jeff Fulton to General Manager of the
Chesaning, MI. window division effective October 1, 2008. Mr. Fulton
has been employed at Hehr International for 26 years, and replaces Douglas
Gerding, V.P., who retired June 30, 2008 after 49 years of service.
Jeff began his career in
1982 as an hourly employee operating one of the glass cutting machines.
His talent and ambition were recognized early in his career as he
progressed through various job responsibilities. In 1985, after only three
years with Hehr International, Jeff was promoted to Michigan’s prototype
shop within the engineering department. One of Jeff’s early
responsibilities was the development of the Marine windshield product
line, which was a new market for Hehr International.
Jeff’s constant desire to
expand his knowledge and grasp of the complete Hehr product line resulted
in his promotion to Sales Engineer. This position required Jeff to travel
outside of Michigan, and allowed the opportunity to develop numerous key
customer relationships.
Jeff’s extreme hard work
and dedication was rewarded when he was promoted to Plant Manager in 2002.
Jeff is an excellent example of an employee who started on the production
floor, worked hard, and realized an opportunity to better himself. Jeff
Fulton is now General Manager of the largest division within the Hehr
family of 10 facilities throughout the United States and we wish him all
the best.

 It
is with great sadness and regret that I must inform you of the
sudden and untimely death of my husband David Utick, who
passed away in his sleep Friday July 25th. As many of you know,
David was intimately involved in the development and success of Hehr
for over twenty-five years, and I know that he will be greatly
missed by family and employees alike.
Hehr and its affiliated companies
will continue to operate as they have with no changes in staffing
and operations. To this end, the board of directors has elected,
Mary Utick, the CEO of Hehr International Inc.

Survived by wife, Mary Utick;
son, John Utick; daughters, Jennifer Sim and Elizabeth Utick;
grandson, Jason Sim; sisters, Julie Boxley and Bernadette Bellah;
brother, Frank Utick; six nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces
and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Blazek
and his parents Frank and Margaret Utick.
Prayer Vigil will be held August
7, 2008, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Saddleback Mortuary Chapel, 220 E. Main
St. Tustin. Funeral Mass will be held August 8, 2008, 12:00 noon at
Holy Family Cathedral, 566 S. Glassell St., Orange, CA 92866.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations may be sent to University of Notre Dame, Hehr
